PLOT: It's the story about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda, named Po, who is the biggest fan of Kung Fu around...which doesn't exactly come in handy while working every day in his family's noodle shop. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five -- Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey -- under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality? Po puts his heart - and his girth - into the task, and the unlikely hero ultimately finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths

REVIEW
Dreamworks Animation is no Disney/Pixar, but they've had a few that I've liked. The original Shrek, Bee Movie, Over The Hedge. Shrek 2 and 3 are atrocious. I didn't expect much from Kung Fu Panda, but it delivered. Jack Black's voice over work was great. The humor was original and good. There were a few times where you just knew what was going to happen, but it's a kids movie, so who cares?

I didn't even know that Angelina Jolie or Seth Rogen was in this. I guess that shows my lack of interest in this in the beginning. Dustin Hoffman also delivered a good preformance. The action scenes were amazing. They didn't cheap out after 38 seconds of fighting. There were fight scenes that were 5-7 minutes. The visuals as well were stunning. One of my problems was that when Jack Black wasn't on screen, and they weren't fighting, it lost my interest. But there wasn't much of that. So to sum it all up, Kung Fu Panda is a movie the whole family can enjoy. Take your kids out to see it. Everyone will love it.

My Rating: 8/10

Remember back in 2003, Michael Bay produced the Texas Chainsaw Massacre directed by Marcus Nispel? Well I might have been the few that really really liked that movie. Maybe I'm not. I wasn't a hardcore fan of the original, and I think the remake served it a lot scarier and a lot better.

Anyway, that team has pulled back together to create a Friday 13th remake. My opinion on the original Friday the 13th? I think it's just a bad bad movie. I may get torn up for that, but that's how I feel. Now, I'm not saying it didn't scare the shit out of me when I was little, but now, it's just fun to watch with friends and laugh with. The kills are pretty good, but the acting and dialog are terrible. I think this new one is going for a more fun good ol time with some scare and awesome kills. Courtesy of Joblo.com (You can see me there, Tyler Durden4) we have a few pictures of the set and the JASON VOORHEES!
